Mike’s passion is improving and promoting health, movement, and general well–being in everyone he encounters. Mike states, “I have always believed that if you can get a little better, you can get a lot better. Encouragement, being present, and a caring attitude are essential to healing. Those attributes are foundational in our treatments, training, and staff.” Ethan White, CEO and founding partner of EW Motion Therapy, states, “Since 1999, Mike has believed that how well you move is a direct reflection of your health. He is a world–class teacher, expert clinician, and a role model. Making the difficult look easy, Mike has promoted health and vitality in clients ranging from Olympians and professional athletes to both the young and elderly, as well as runners and those just wanting to move better.” Mike’s areas of interest include staff training and education designed to create a unique customer experience, mentoring, clinical in–service programming, developing unique evaluation and treatment sequencing, and promoting an atmosphere of encouragement. Additionally, Mike leads our EW RUN program. He combines his love for running with his expansive background in manual therapy and corrective exercise, with the goal of making running enjoyable and a lifelong activity. Mike stays active through his love of fishing, target shooting, being outdoors, and spending time with family and friends. A native of Birmingham, Mike has lived in Vestavia Hills since 2010. Education: UAB, Master’s of Physical Therapy (1992), Bachelor degree in Comprehensive Science (1991).
