EW PT Pilates // EW PT Yoga
Physician Referral for Physical Therapy Evaluation and Treatment–Clients may request a physician or other qualified healthcare professional referral for EW Pilates or EW PT Yoga. Clients must have a qualifying medical diagnosis that establishes medical necessity for physical therapy. The evaluation and treatments are typically covered by insurance (subject to policy specific coverage/limits for PT). Self-pay options are also available.
Myofascial Release: The goals of myofascial release techniques are to decrease tissue restrictions, improve posture, and improve body awareness. The result is improved mobility and function. How do myofascial techniques work? The fascial system is a complex, multi-dimensional, continual web matrix that is fully integrated throughout our bodies. The fascial system enables motion through its continuity and its structural support of the neuromuscular, musculoskeletal, and cardiovascular systems. Mobilizing restrictions in the myofascial system helps our bodies’ unique anatomy and physiology to function at an optimal level.
Joint Mobilization: Restrictions in joint mobility often result in pain, loss of range of motion, and decreased mobility. The goals of joint mobilization are to restore healthy motion and reduce pain. Joint mobilization techniques are hands on, applied in a safe and effective manner, and often combined with other techniques to improve the effectiveness of a session.
Therapeutic Stretching: Therapeutic stretching is used to mobilize restricted myofascia, decrease pain, and improve function. Stretching techniques are individualized and targeted for maximum effect. A typical EW Body session will incorporate stretching.
Recovery Techniques: We teach as we treat. We incorporate the benefits of relaxation, breath, and the use of implements to promote tissue mobility and to decrease pain.

Schedule a 30-minute consultation with a Physical Therapist or Motion Specialist to discuss your wellness and health goals.
