Ben’s mission is to help his clients meet their movement and fitness goals and to assist with their rehabilitation when injuries occur. From athletes to the geriatric client, Ben recognizes the importance of creating and maintaining healthy movement pathways to promote health and vitality.
At EW Motion Therapy, his responsibilities include evaluating, treating, and promoting healthy movement patterns in both the well and injured client. Becca Lee, Clinical Director of EW Motion Therapy Trussville states, “Ben is exceptional at creating a unique relationship with every client. He brings an extensive background and knowledge base from his time as a collegiate athlete, his training at Samford University, and his passion for clinical education.
Ben’s areas of interest include the young and advanced athlete, sport’s performance, strength and conditioning, balance training, and throwing sports. Having played collegiate baseball at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, he has developed an expertise in designing healthy throwing programs and developing programs for return to throwing with the injured athlete.
Ben maintains a healthy lifestyle through hiking, lifting weights, and running.
A native of Decatur, he has called the Birmingham area his home since 2009.

Chris’s passion is helping people achieve healthier lifestyles by getting them moving and feeling better. “Chris takes exceptional care of his clients,” says Becca Lee, Clinical Director of EW Motion Therapy Trussville. “He really understands the value of teamwork when working with patients. Chris is attentive, caring, and works extremely hard to help clients achieve their motion goals.” Chris is responsible for patient treatments. Currently, he is in the process of completing a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree with a graduation date of 2020. His areas of interest include sports injuries and rehabilitation, ankle pain, foot pain, and pre- and postoperative orthopedic care. Chris enjoys hiking, biking, and walking his dog to stay active. Chris is a native of Trussville and continues to live there. Education: Jefferson State Community College, Associates Degree in Applied Science for Physical Therapist Assistant (2014); University of Alabama, Bachelor of Science in Biology (2011).
